In 1994, graphic designer Anthon Beeke (1940-2018) designed a poster to announce the play 'Illias' by Toneelgroep Amsterdam. Almost each poster made by Anthon Beek was a provocation; assuming that out on the street there is only one chance to attract the audience’s attention. Due to this outspoken positioning and appropriation of a prominent provocative role, this contribution has been attributed, by contemplative analyst Janna Meeus, to the Department of Practice and can now be seen in The Playground of the In-between.
