Celebrated in particular in The Modest Master's Mesmerizing Screen Print Shop is Kees Maas, the former screenprinter operating the workshops of the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. In homage to the modest master, The Palace of Typographic Masonryasked graphic designers Janne and Hilde Meeus (Meeus ontwerpt) to design the invitation to the opening of the palatial workshop. For this invitation, a design was conceived in which the modest masters skills could once more be expressed in an inventive manner, documented even in a short film.
