This text is a report of an informal meeting with the Designer oin The Palace of Typographic Masonry. On the first page it says: 'If you want to get acquainted with the structure and content of this building, this map is an excellent tool', the Designer said enthusiastically, 'as you can see I'm still drawing on it, but I can show you on the basis of this ground plan what I have been able to achieve so far and what goal I have in mind. That's what you came for, right? “
The story clearly highlights the neglect of the public domain and the absence of the stories featured in The Palace of Typographic Masonry in our schools, museums and other public institutions. Which has led to visual illiteracy and a gap between insiders and outsiders. It reads as a plea to see graphic design as a public activity that gives a culture its orientation and collective representation.
